The Writers Publications is a calm, ad-free platform where writers can publish their long-form work and readers can find honest stories — without paywalls, algorithms or noise.
We believe the internet is a bad place to read a book. Most platforms either treat writers as content creators competing for ad views, or hide them behind paywalls before anyone has even read a chapter. The Writers Publications is the opposite: a place built around the manuscript, the writer and the reader. No ads. No paywall to read. Real tools to write.
We're a small, independent team of writers and engineers based in Sweden. We're not a publishing house, not a VC-funded social network, and not a clone of any existing reading platform. We make the tool we wished existed when we started writing our own books.
Reading and writing are free, and stay free. We plan to sustain the platform through optional services for writers (professional editing, cover design, ARC/early-reader programs) and a small, fair revenue share when authors choose to sell their finished EPUBs through us — 85% to the writer, 15% to the platform. That's it. No ads. No selling your data. No surprise paywalls.
You should never have to create an account, pay a fee or watch an ad to read a story.
